The Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary members through their devotion and prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary adhere to the rules and regulations in the Legion’s Handbook. Weekly meetings are held with pairs taking time to visit the sick both in their homes and in hospital. To be an active legionary it is necessary to apply for membership in a praesidium. After probation, members are called to make the Legionary Promise (only applicable for members over 18 years) which is directed to the Holy Spirit.
