Parish Pilgrim Statue
The Pilgrim Virgin Statue is one of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. The Home Visit brings Our Lady via her statue into different homes in the Parishes to help promote family prayer in the home, the domestic church.
During Our Lady’s visit, family and friends are invited to pray the Rosary for peace and the family’s intentions. There is no obligation except to enjoy the visit from our Blessed Mother.
The Statue will be in your home for one week, from one weekend to the next. It will be YOUR responsability to collect from the previous home or collection point in one of the Parish Churches you will have the contact details of this person to arrange this we reccomend contacting them on the Thursday before collection.
It is hoped to begin this rota in May 2022 and it will be a continuous without any breaks. You will need to set aside a small area for the statue, battery operated candles will be provided (if you wish to use real candles do so at YOUR OWN RISK), prayer and rosary CDs will be provided along with recommended prayer sites.
